The MS 391 petrol chainsaw combines strong cutting performance with comfort, for farmers, tradespeople and landscapers. The main areas of application for this power tool include cutting firewood, landscape maintenance and cutting construction timber. The STIHL MS 391 chainsaw impresses with an output of 3.3 kW (4.5 hp) and achieves an optimal power-to-weight ratio of 1.9 kg/kW. The chainsaw is powered by an economical and powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine. The STIHL MS 391 features a decompression valve that significantly reduces the pulling force on the starter cord, so that you can start the petrol chainsaw as effortlessly and easily as possible. Other features of the petrol chainsaw include:

• A controlled-delivery oil pump for demand-based delivery of oil. This means that lubrication can be optimised for very long cutting attachments or very dry wood, and oil consumption can be reduced in other cases. The STIHL Ematic system ensures that every drop of oil reaches exactly the places it is needed in a targeted manner.
• The routing pre-separator removes coarse dirt particles, relieving strain on the filter itself. You can also retrofit your MS 391 with an HD2 air filter, thereby upgrading it with a long-life air filter system. This will allow you to work for significantly longer without interruption, and reduces the number of filter cleanings required.
